Mains Power means the 230 V AC 50 Hz or 110 V AC 60 Hz in some countries, The lower power line like 5A is used for small lamps and fans. Just like rackmounts hold big instruments or computers, control panels small or big have to hold DIN Instruments, switches and annunciators to make it easy for the operator. The maintenance work also is simple from the backside. It can be kept near the machinery which it controls. Heater for Heating Chambers

This was a Heater which was custom built for a CRT manufacturer, It comprised of many Tubular finned heaters. And probably a big fan that worked at high temperatures. Types of Switches

Switches are electromechanical devices. The are used to control the path of current or energy flow. Power switches are used to turn on and off loads. The contacts should be robust and have immunity to sparking and corrosion. Switches for signals need to be gold plated for low contact resistance and within a sealed enclosure. Multi Zone Temperature Controller

This is a Multi Zone Temperature Control panel used in Plastic Extrusion Moulding. We made many of these and it helped us learn cable management techniques. The panel is a standard way it was built and some of the merits were the selection of panel components and wiring expertise.
